These downloads are for those who want to look at the scripts or want to convert their blog, for non commercial purposes. That means converting your blog and not a bunch of blogs for someone else, whether you know them or not, compensated or not.
The documentation, such as it is, is included in the tar ball in PDF and HTML. You’ll probably be happier picking the latest release. 2.7. Please read for known “oopsie’s” in the instructions.
I’ve got a few other scripts that some folks may find useful.
- chkg2.rb Shows how to login and get info from a server running Gallery2.
- hackWXR.rb Not all WXR files from older versions of wordpress have properly escaped authors and comments. This script fixes them.
- splitWXR.rb Splits a big WXR file into multiple smaller files. Not a difficult thing to do or to write in your language of choice but I needed it.
